Sophia Malashonok

Sophia is a member of the Genesis team, investing Hg’s mid-cap software and services fund.  

Prior to joining Hg in 2022, Sophia was at McKinsey & Company where she served clients across TMT on strategy, corporate finance and digital transformation topics. Before McKinsey, she spent over two years in TMT Investment Banking team at HSBC.

Sophia holds an MSc in Sociology from University of Oxford, Lady Margaret Hall. She is fluent in English and Russian.
