In December 2009 HgCapital completed the acquisition of Goldshield, a niche pharmaceutical and consumer health company based in the UK. 

 

Goldshield comprises of a a pharmaceutical division engaged in the distribution of niche branded original and non-branded generic medicines, and a consumer health division which distributes products for weight management as well as commoditised healthcare products.
